So... I noticed today that Julius Caesar isn't mentioned in the Bible by name, which is weird because they speak of Augustus and Tiberius, and Julius was in-between.

Sometimes just looking up history actually helps. And because you seem incapable of research, let me help you: Julius Caesar dies 44 BC at age 55 by being stabbed by close friends in senate. Augustus becomes the first Roman emperor in 27 BC ruling till 14 AD Tiberius follows from 14 to 37 AD Jesus is born sometimes around 6 to 4 BC (because somebody messed up the exact date) and dies 30 or 33 AD

So, if you look at when the Bible takes place - there’s silence between Malachi and Mark - 400 years roughly… Malachi prophesied around 400 years BC. Matthew was written about the years c.6 BC - 35 AD (roughly). Julius Caesar was murdered in 44BC. There’s no reason to mention Caesar. Augustus is mentioned, as he took power after Julius Caesar’s death. I am a modern historian, so why this area isn’t my specialty, it’s still something I would know a fair bit amount.

Ok so looking at the other replies you ve done, it seems to me that you aknowledge Julius Ceasar was before Augustus, and are actually asking aboutGaius Ceasar, Augustus' biological grandson/adopted son and heir (alongside Gaius' younger brother Lucius). Very easy explanation if so: Gaius died in 4 AD. Augustus, who Gaius would ve been an heir to, died in 14 AD, a whole decade later. As such, neither Gaius nor Lucius (being dead) ever inherited Augustus' role as princeps. Rather, Tiberius did.
