This is one of the ways that the masters themselves learned to paint, as I’m sure you know. Your work is amazing. Hopefully we are all still and always learning. I am self-taught as well. I think one of the biggest gaps I feel (beyond direct instruction) is direct critique and artistic community. I accommodate for this is the ways I can right now, but I do hope to cultivate relationships here and otherwise that have room for supportive and critique that helps growth. Do you have community?
