i was sitting at my desk at work and a colleague, who was sitting behind me, told me i had a “tag” hanging out of my sweater. it’s an old sweater so i was like what?! she said “yeah it’s a little plastic thingy. want me to cut it out?” i said sure and then next thing you know, she’s handing me my hanger loop! i didn’t even consider that she was referring to that when she said tag. so, 2 things: 1. i NEVER would’ve agreed to such a thing & 2. don’t people know what hanging loops are? 幾秒內	CAL themockingjaytoday	don’t people use them? i feel like there’s no way she uses them or else she wouldn’t have asked to cut mine. i feel like i’d turn into a pro-lifer if someone asked me to cut theirs. i’d hear them out about their decision but then i’d also give them a lesson about the hanger loop & its value here on earth. i’m not mad she cut it, just confused. could i have asked her these questions when this happened? yes. did i? no. did i just say thank you & throw my beloved into the trash? yes. so…(2/2)

一天內	Professor Elle (she/her) professor_elle	Are you talking about the fairly large loops, usually in pairs attached at shoulders, sewn into many garments – not just sweaters but blouses and dresses? They’re meant for stores to use in retail displays, not permanent use. I always remove them.
