Geesh! He’s not lowering the debt! We should all know this by now. How in the H can this be explained to people who just don’t get it?

Good question, but an even better one is why anyone (let alone 70+ million Americans) thought that he was going to do anything other than transfer wealth from the middle class to obscenely rich billionaires.

Because they intend dilute the treasury like never before, send the debt to levels never imagined, then claim they have to cut Social Security Medicare, and every other social service because of the debt

Because “raising the debt ceiling” is LITERALLY the term used for allocating money in the national budget specifically to be spent on LOWERING THE NATIONAL DEBT. I hate Trump too, but this post is so fucking stupid and misleading. If we don’t raise the debt ceiling, we are basically saying that we plan on defaulting on our international loans, which would be catastrophic to our economic future, and our standing with half the planet that we ow me money to.
