THIS is my point! No entitlement here. If the room is ready and available, what’s the problem with letting us in to the room we already paid hundreds for?!?

It’s not. The fee covers adding personnel to turn the room earlier.

LOL so you think that using the room for 4-9hrs earlier than your check in time should be free if it’s available? Is it not rhe time spent n using the room what you pay for?

But that's not the ask. The ask is to guarantee a room will be ready at 9 am. I travel a lot, arrive when i get there and ask to hold my bags, depending on the time sometimes they will check me in others i leave my bags and come back later.

Who assumes it is ready?
