momthreads help me out. My mother doesn’t want to be called granny/ grandma/ nonna/ etc and keeps suggesting things like Lovely or Rosie (we have a dog in tbr family by that name) or Honey or MomMom. Tonight’s suggestion was Pussycat. She says “grand” makes her feel old. I keep saying no. I don’t like the ones she suggests and I keep thinking, do you want a teenager to say “I’m going to Grandpa’s and Lovely’s house” I’m starting to wonder if I’m in the wrong here. Am I?
