There was today a news item urging family members to report any mental decline in their parents or elderly relatives to the authorities when visiting over the Christmas period. Reason being, cases of Dementia are on the rise. No! One of the reasons of a mental decline in an elderly family member is that they never visit at other times. Rant over!
