I keep seeing people say masks only protect other people, not the wearer. This is false - a well-fitted N95 protects you extremely well, and is (IMO) much more comfortable if you pick the right one! My favourites are: 3M Aura - highest protection but only comes in white Laianzhi HYX1002 - black and comfortable but likely slightly less protective Zimi 9541 - black, gives high protection even with earloops but needs testing and customisation with foam strips
