HR does that (hindi lang sa Pilipinas) when there is an over abundance of applicants. So they implement ways to weed out people by adding absurd amounts of requirements. So its still best to know someone from within the org to pull up your resume and pass it along to the correct hiring manager. It is unfair pero ganun talaga lalo sa Pilipinas kasi for each job opening meron daang-daang applicante.

Since you specified youre looking at the government, maybe it's time you researched how the civil service works rather than ask this researchable question in public. But to tell you frankly, there are positions with minimum of bachelor's degree, minimum of master's degree etc. Experience is also a different qualification category. TOR is more of anti Recto-made docs measure. Salary grade system in govt is elaborate, systematized, standardized. Go research.

I have been working for 28 years already and when i moved to a new company, i was asked to submit a TOR or a College Diploma. 🤣 crazy.

I don’t think companies scrutinize grades when an applicant submits a TOR, it’s additional proof of education attainment. If submitted a fake diploma, they’ll base it on the TOR. It’s annoying to be asked, yes, but that’s the consequence of counterfeiting. Maraming ganyan

I understand the struggle. Sa gobyerno pa iba-iba ang standards sa pag hire. Minsan they hire kamote people kahit di kumpleto pinasa requirements or unfit yung natapos sa position. Tas malalamam mo na lang may backer or kamag-anak. Another thing pag elected official doesn’t matter kung may college degree ka or wala.

Original po ba hinihingi? Sa amin kasi before, photocopy lang sya tapos may stamp from school na "Certified True Copy from the Original" and signature ng Registrar. Once lang ata ako nka experience na nagbigay ng original TOR -- sa PRC for Licensure Exam.

Ang oa noh? You know pag ganito yung employer cinacancel ko application. american companies lahat na weork ko and wala silang pake talaga lol
