When I was 23 a doctor prescribed me oxy and fentanyl, for 7.5 years... For whiplash caused by a car accident. He was eventually indicted for overprescribing that had resulted in countless ruined lives and handfuls of ended lives( 1 of the people he killed was my friend). Mine was one of the lives ruined. He was convicted and received 6 months unsupervised probation. The laws that allow doctors to escape accountability are the same now as they were then. Trust your doctor accordingly.
