Anyone else old enough to have waited tables in the smoking section? Better tips but wow that was such a dumb idea— my kids don’t believe it.

12 小時內	Kaitlin stryxowl	I bussed tables in the smoking section, but by then they were phasing out the smoking section in a lot of places. I do remember the smoking section on planes and was so glad when they stopped that.
一天內	Rebecca Heineman van Dongen rebecca_heineman	Smoking section? Every table had an ashtray. Dumping it and wiping it out with a napkin was part of bussing the table. Not always necessary though because often they would use the uneaten mashed potatoes instead. Fun times.
