As Mets fan, I do not believe either signing Alex Bregman or trading for Nolan Arenado is a good idea. However… By doing so, you will strengthen the defense, push Vientos to DH and have Acuna, Mauricio, etc as depth. If you want to be like the Dodgers, build depth like the Dodgers.
