You can always call a piercing shop to have them change it out for you. It's not to hard once you get the hang of it and you should learn eventually, although a piercer can help teach you with hands on experience so it might be worth it. If its a labret I'd suggest getting a pair of cheap hemostats(basically a little pair of pliers to hold onto the piercing while you unscrew it) because i find it impossible to unscrew the balls with out them.
