Debit cards are covered through the Electronic Fund Transfer Act. This law gives you 60 days (from the day you get your statement) to report any unauthorized transactions to your bank. If your debit card has a Visa or Mastercard logo, you’re covered by their zero-liability policies.

一天內	michaelcoxfinancialcoaching	I am Ramsey trained coach and you guys do great work. It's time you admit that the credit card is not the same as a debit card. They withhold deposits on rental cars, hotels, and some gas stations . As discussed, if compromised, the money is gone until the bank decides to replace it. Time to stop the BS of exactly the same. They are similar but NOT the same. Using 1 credit card and paying off the balance monthly is ok for those with discipline. Some don't have discipline and shouldn't use.
