I love this shot of Superman protecting the kid & I'm tired of pretending that things like this haven't been missing from Superman media for the last decade Everyone wants to focus on evil Superman or an evil superhuman with Superman powers or a variant of Superman that's kinda depressing but at his core, Superman's character is bright, hopeful, and prioritizes PROTECTING OTHERS (he even does his best to try & minimize collateral if he's fighting someone on his level like Zod or Doomsday)
