2/2 caviar we need to serve it right. Bartender brought it back to me and everything was fine. He then asked him what he was expecting and asked for the capers, mustard & cornichons...which confused the heck out of me lol but he was PISSED. Had to print a picture of how caviar is usually served and had the bartender show it to him. He calmed down real quick and said

11-top at a decently fancy restaurant, floor manager told me it was my only table for the night. Hopped to it, kept them set for 4.5 hours and a $7,000.00 tab. They kept the table past closing. Ticket paid with zero tip. French company. My floor manager let me go and finished my side work, next day called the local corporate office and told them their parties would no longer be welcome if they tipped that way. I got a corporate "sorry" and a $150.00 Visa gift card. Worst night of my summer.

My first job ever when I was 16, this adorable couple came in with their child, they were great, chatting with me and laughing. When they left they left me a note on the table “service sucked. Didn’t bring my child a coloring book. You have a great ass though” we didn’t even have coloring books. No tip

My personal favourite moment is still when someone complained to me that the fish and chips were too hot and they almost burnt their lips I accidentally laughed at them because that is ridiculous What's extra funny is that if they had asked to see the manager over that it would have been me 😅

While working around a restaurant in central Florida, someone managed to hit a light pole with a transformer and took out the electricity in the whole area. People were really mad that we wouldn't seat them and serve them food and drinks, and they went out to eat because they didn't have electricity at home. Like, did they not notice that nobody had electricity?

Morning of thanksgiving at a breakfast cafe on Haight Street in San Francisco. 100 Hells Angels rolled up on their choppers, hungry, thirsty, and a VERY intimidating crowd of men if you can imagine. We were entirely under-staffed and under prepared. They went through an entire keg of IPA, ate every egg in the walk-in, basically cleared us out. The wait for food was like 30+ minutes. Let me tell you, these were the most patient, respectful and GOOD TIPPING badass looking bikers ever.
