Oh my. When my husband was in college, in the 90s, his mom asked him to bring her a cast iron pan from the hardware store in town. I’m pretty sure he tossed it in his backpack and walked that 12” skillet through 3 airports! She said it was too big and heavy for her. :D And that is how I came to own a 12” cast iron skillet; I’ve been using it regularly ever since!
