I’m a woman and there are absolutely household appliances I want as gifts. My husband got me a nugget ice maker which I have been wanting for years and I love it. He has also got me a kitchenAid mixer and I love that too. If you know your wife, you know what they want. Just get that for them and ignore bad advice on SM.

If someone gifted me a washing machine for Christmas, where I should then proceed to wash the clothes of the whole freaking family, I'd be pissed. The washing machine is something the whole household needs, why should be seen as a gift to the wife?
