For people who think it is a good idea that the US pulls WHO funding, you should consider how ridiculously provincial that thought is. We live in a global society where diseases are just a plane ride away; in a changing climate where disease carried by animals have new areas to live and infected people. Our systems and infrastructure are intertwined as evidenced by the shortages during the height of the COVID pandemic and the global inflation seen afterwards. Global health is also local health.
