Wrong. Stop mom shaming

Weird hill to die on. I work in a pedi office. You can’t even tell the difference between the formula fed or breastfed kids that come in, from newborn to when they age out. Sure you get antibodies or whatever, but it’s not like some magical thing that produces superior kids. Coming from a mom that exclusively pumped for two years and breastfed for two years simply because I had the privilege of being able to. Formula isn’t some toxic thing that produces sickly babies.

This is so right. I was too scared and uncomfortable to nurse my first kids and I was told it makes no difference… that was untrue. Once I was shown the vast benefits of breastfeeding I decided to push past my comfort zone and nurse my last baby. I am so glad I did!!!!! All the horror stories and fear melted away! Now I am a strong believer in breastfeeding.

Agree. & YES some women CAN’T (& good lord we get IT sit down, we’ve heard you 500x over 🙄) —those who wanna clap back at this. But her point is that societally— formula is in no way frowned upon. So it is marketed as an “equal” choice to breast milk which it is not. It’s loaded with seed oils and emulsifiers and complete trash for babies. But go OFF girlies! You know you want tout your reasoning why you can’t. But you’re missing her point.

My kids were both formula babies. Perfectly healthy kids. No illness or allergies. But I have friends the breastfed and kids were always sick. Ultimately do what is best for you and your child.

My husband and I were super sick for 4 days as well as our 9 yrold daughter and I still breastfed my 6 month old, she got nothing but a very mild runny nose and slept alot. Her immune system is greatly blessed! Shes also unvaxxed

Yeaaa tell that to my watery thin crappy milk that wouldn't make him full no matter what I did, how long I did it, pumping, eating stuff etc. to support my body in making better milk.
