I am not up for Christmas or Hanukkah this year. 2024 has been a complete shit show for our family. Christmas Eve is usually the very bestest day in my parents’ house. This year, I’m just trying to get through it. I converted, so my husband, son and I celebrate Hanukkah. Hoping the meaning behind it, and the ritual, will bring me comfort.
