He let me cool off for a while, came over and gave me a big hug. I buried my face into his chest and quietly apologized for my behavior. And like he always does, he kissed my forehead and told me that he understood. It's a lot for me to mask for so long with little to no release. He then changed our morning plans so that we can relax before seeing my family, where I can release and be me.

I was just telling my husband that I don’t think I can go to my family’s for Christmas on Saturday. At Thanksgiving I had an anxiety attack and had to leave because of the chaos and crammed space. Now there will be 15 people instead of 12 and I just don’t think I can handle it!! I asked him if that was ok and he said “of course”. He supports me always. And I do the same. We may go early and drop off gifts and leave.
