Christmas Eve parenting a teenager: do we force him to go to bed early so we can put out the gift that was impossible to wrap or do we just do it in the morning since he'll sleep till noon?

That way we sleep in until the dogs make us get up, and then we have a hilarious time helping them open their toys and treats. Once Santa is out of the equation, I love doing gifts on Christmas Eve and having a slower Christmas morning.
