I thought it was always just biphobia (I'm a bisexual myself). But after some experiences, I noticed that there are many bisexual women that are just not ready to have a relationship with a woman, but like the way they are treated by one. Many friends had the same experience and ended up hurt, because the bi girl ended things afraid of making it serious or sometimes preferred to be with a guy even if they were mistreated etc. I'm not generalizing (never done it myself) but those things happen.

The wild part is, I had a girl (who is a lesbian) sabotage things with us because she was so used to how bi girls had (historically) treated her. And when I showed up, wanting something real and honest with longevity, she went on this loop of fucking it up and then coming back. It was exhausting.

It still hurts to this day. It has me scared to even try to get close to another woman because of this fear now. Not knocking all bi women, just throwing my experience out there.

No one's saying people haven't had bad experiences, and it's fine to feel badly about it, it's even fine if it personally prejudices you though I would say there are healthierbways to handle things. The problem comes with using bad experiences to generalize about entire people groups and invalidate their identities.
