Like yes but the price of good rising and the minimum wage staying the same is infinitely WORSE than prices increasing a little for higher minimum wage. Ontario is over 5 dollars behind what we need to have a livable minimum wage with what prices are at right now. So what’s rising prices? Greedy corporations that know people will pay whatever they set the price to because it’s necessities. No one can boycott buying grocies, and paying their electric company, and getting gas.

You are right. The last time minimum wage was raised was 2009 and prices have not rose since. We definitely dodged a bullet.

I remember when Labour brought in the £4 minimum wage in the Uk and the Tories claimed it would bankrupt business, nothing happened. It’s now £11.44 an hour and the same people are arguing the same thing. They are once again just lying as they want to keep more £ for themselves and are happy to keep their workers in poverty
