Intentionally connecting with small, resilient, and relatively self-sufficient communities is going to become more and more important for preserving some semblance or remnant of human flourishing for as long as is possible. The oligarchs controlling our governments are unwilling to sacrifice their profits for the well-being of people and the planet.
