A super cool and beautiful bird found in west Mexico. This bird checked all the Motmot species off my list for the Americas, so I was super stoked to finally see them. That gorgeous green and rusty cap really make this Russet-crowned Motmot stand out. We found him right in the middle of town too. Shot was taken at Parque Santa Cruz in Pochulta, Oaxaca, Mexico 🇲🇽
