💔 Just found out my sweet surrogate kitty, Mittens was hit by a car Oct. 13th. I hadn’t seen her since the 9th so I texted her owner this morning to check on her. We all knew there was a chance this would happen- she was feral-like and wandered far from home to visit me almost daily. She loved sitting in my tree trying to catch the birds at the feeders. She filled a hole in my heart after my cat was killed by a coyote in 2021. May she be happy in heaven chasing birds and climbing trees. 😔
