I think one of the biggest misconceptions in the EV space are the "EV have less parts/are more simple/less to go wrong" statements. An iPad has less individual mechanical parts than an Etch-a-Sketch but it is NOT simpler. Same applies to cars. Especially when you combine multiple components into one assembly (motors, differentials, and even drive inverters into FDUs and RDUs. Or even entire AC systems into super manifolds). Just something to keep in mind from an EV tech.
