Day 7 of pertussis (whooping cough). No fever, just a hacking, heaving cough that’s worse at night (so very little sleep). The cough is so violent at times that I pulled a muscle under my scapula. Finally on antibiotics so it should improve. Pertussis is on the rise, partly because of people refusing to vaxx. It’s dangerous for infants and for old folks like me (65). Whoopingcough
