Here’s the rule of thumb on neighbors and love as a Christian: If you try to exclude someone from your definition of “neighbor,” you’re wrong. Like, Jesus’ most famous parable (top-3 for sure) explicitly contradicts him. And even if it didn’t, Jesus also said to love your enemies. So… sorry. If you thought being a Christian had a love loophole for folks you don’t like, you’re wrong. +T+
