If certain products go up in price, other products will follow. If fewer people buy imported produce and replace it with domestic, that will drive up prices of domestic. Also, with foreign goods being more expensive, it allows domestic equivalents to raise prices without a lower priced product competing against it.

Do you plan to heat/cool your house? Drive a car? Do you know the average lifespan of home appliance’s? These things don’t affect only the rich. The poorest of the poor through the middle class will be most affected. Take a look sometime at where your food actually comes from.

Its not the one or two things its the domino effect.
