As I go through school to become a vet tech the more I believe that God has put dogs on this planet for us. My favorite thing I have learned is that if your heart rate is elevated for any reason petting and loving your dog will lower your heart rate. Your heart rate will then slow down and match your dog’s heart rate. DogThreads
