I filed a formal complaint with the Board of Nursing against my mother. Her treatment of me during my pregnancy has been deeply dehumanizing. She took me in, only to kick me out and threaten police involvement while I am 32 weeks pregnant. Her persistent and volatile transphobia toward my family has significantly impacted my well-being and mental health. It’s alarming that a Labor and Delivery nurse, regardless of nearly 40 years of experience, would treat her own pregnant child this way.
