Anyone noticing Amazon instituting bait and switch tactics? I placed an order a few days ago for a Sony a7RV camera, 2 additional FPZ-100 batteries and 2 4-battery chargers from Small Rig. One battery arrived Thursday (yes, on Thanksgiving). I checked the order and the invoice said only one battery was ordered. Hmph, guess I made a mistake. But still had the 2 chargers (one for me, one for my son) and the camera scheduled to be delivered Sat. I made sure to confirm the count for chargers. 1/🧵

An hour or so later and one charger is delivered. I check the order, and sure enough, it shows 1 battery, 1 charger and one Sony a7RIV camera. So the orders are being changed after they’re placed with no notification whatsoever. Very shady. And they’re doing it with prime video as well. 2/🧵

一天內	David McGreavy redletterdavid	LOL nah. Go check your emails, you just got excited thinking you got a great deal and pressed order without checking. Check the order confirmation, and if that’s conflicting with what it shows now, contact Amazon. But I’ve never, ever had an issue with them changing the item outright like that, and I call shenanigans from you for engagement. The only times I’ve had orders changed is when I have subscription items that are out of stock (and I get asked what alternative I’d want instead etc).
