I feel like a lot of emphasis is placed on travelling and capturing photos of megafauna when it comes to wildlife photography, which is unfortunate. Getting acquainted with the more common creatures and photographing what’s close to home can foster an appreciation for wildlife and ecosystems in our very own backyards.
