A photographer, Steve Madden has created an absolute duplicate of my project On The Night Bus. To make that worse, Gost Books have published it. He started shooting his the year my book was published by Hoxton Mini Press. 4 小時內	Peter Orth planet.orth	I think Madden’s pictures have a different feel, even though they’re the same concept and look. You own your images, not the approach. I’d say move on.
一天內	Andy Greaves andygreaves_uk	They say imitation is the best form of flattery. Even so I think I'd be a bit pissed off but what do you do ? I suppose you'll just have to satisfy yourself yours was the first and make it known. In the meantime follow my work and see how it's derivative of Parr, Winogrand etc even though I've been making images like this since the early 80's.
一天內	FRɅNO franophoto	We had a similar conversation when I tagged you on a complimentary comment on a post by another talented IG photographer. His claim was that he hadn’t heard of you or seen your work and was also inspired by Saul Leiter et al. I believed him because in all honestly Nick, I similarly only knew your name after hearing Martin Parr on a podcast name check you when talking about how lots of street photographers just copy others. He used your “On the night bus” as the prime example.
