I just saw WICKED, having never seen the musical. My first gut reaction: AMAZING. Second gut reaction: As amazing as Cynthia Erivo is (she truly is breathtaking) Ariana Grande deserves her flowers. In my eyes, the true “villain” of the movie. Third gut reaction: The parallels to the current state of the USA are just too spooky. I get why American conservatives/MAGA America hate this movie.
