Dead “corpse “is certainly not gross if you are bastardizing it to mean meat from an animal. The only way it is gross is if you’re emotional shortcomings make you mentally unstable. Non-vegans don’t qualify their food emotionally or try and make people emotional by purposefully misusing a word with negative connotations.
