Patsy was heavily medicated during those interviews. Listen to her entire 911 call, I don't find that to be disingenuous in the least.

I think the body was originally in a completely different place the parents thought their son did it. In shock, they missed the gruesome details of the crime. They wanted to protect the son so they wrote a ransom note, broke the basement window and moved the body creating all this false evidence. Then after the autopsy realized it was done by an intruder. They decided to keep their secret. I think the intruder entered and exited the house & committed the crime in a completely different way

Watched it back in the day. Always thought her parents were guilty.
