I sent my kids to Chinese pre school and Kindy. They hated it, so for primary I enrolled them in SK. I believe learning is lifelong journey. If they want to learn mandarin later in life, they can master especially when their interest is there. My brother blajar mandarin at 45 y.o and he's fluent. Nothing is impossible in my opinion.
