Once baby is asleep, place them into bassinet/crib feet first, then butt, then head. Keep holding them there for a few minutes. Eventually move your hands away. Make sure baby is swaddled and you can even try heating up their spot before you place them there if needed

- warm the bassinet a bit before putting her in - stuff the sheet down your top for a few hours so it smells like you - wait until she’s deeply asleep (15-20 minutes) before trying to transfer - when you do transfer, lower her bum first, then legs, then head - it prevents the feeling of falling which wakes them up - just keep trying, the more she’s in there the more familiar it will be and the longer she’ll sleep there.

I'm going to get shit on for this but my boys were like that and I believe if they are crying it's for a reason. I looked it up and we ended up cosleeping. It was AMAZING for our family. We all were sleeping most of the night, they nursed when needed through the night and we followed safe cosleeping guidelines to make sure they were safe. Co sleeping is done in so many cultures andade sense for us. My boys are now 16, 13 and 9 and sleep in their own beds.

Try a weighed sleep sac. If baby is too big to still swaddle, maybe she’s missing the sensation of feeling enclosed. My son slept in his crib soon as I brought him home from the hospital so no, not all babies need to cosleep. I used to put my son on his side and place rolled up blankets on each side of him. Only woke up to eat and right back to sleep. I refused to have him in my bed for the simple fact I’m 100% for moms having their own space.

Oh my God I feel sorry for the two of you. Hope people can give you good advice for this.
