I am not wealthy. I have worked my whole life, invested in a 401(k), also invested my inheritance. I can get by comfortably and on a budget. My sister in my only surviving member in my family. I walked into her house to find it smelling of urine, feces and trash and clothes piled everywhere. I have contacted an elder law firm to start guardianship process.🧵

幾秒內	Susan Hoover tuckers_mom2	The sad part of this story is her animals. Due to her inability to care for herself, her animals have also suffered. 8 cats and 2 small dogs. I know this is a mental health issue and as I move thru this process I will have to make a number of tough calls. Thanks for letting me share. This is not a position I wanted. But no human or animal should live in the squalor that I saw.
