HOT TAKE: Better gear OFTEN makes you a better photographer. Ever since I picked up a camera almost a decade ago I was fascinated with obtaining more expensive gear and even fell into the thought process that I wouldn't become better at photography unless I got better gear. It wasn't until recent, when I needed to buy a new camera that I realized a bitter sweet truth: You don't actually need better gear to take great photos but it sure does make life a hell of a lot easier.
