I knew I was risking my job by standing up for myself but I couldn't let it go any further, I didn't trust how far he might push. I can only imagine how much harder it must be if you are in the public eye and always have to appear cheerful and approachable for the cameras. That doesn't mean that anyone, of any age, background or gender should be made to feel like their safety doesn't count because 'they didn't speak up at the time' My story is 20 years ago.
