Last night, we watched a 3 year old Golden stop breathing suddenly. As the team was about to start CPR, she came back, but came back blind and with serious neurological deficits. The running theory is cancer, but we haven’t confirmed it yet. But when the owners arrived, we actually saw the dog’s heart rate go up as she started to sniff her owner and realize that she was there. It was beautiful and heartbreaking and these kinds of moments are things we experience every single day. 1/2

To those that think that vets and vet staff are evil monsters, ask them how their day was first. The things we see regularly are your worst nightmares. We are walking open wounds. So stop needlessly poking at us when you didn’t get the answer you wanted.

一天內	Julia Romashko romashkoj	I drive 45 minutes to my vet staff because the clinic owner, who actually was my vet at a Banfield, is worth going to. We moved out of that area, and I drive there with my senior cat because I think that vet is worth it. I've been traveling to her for 3 years, seeing her for almost 16, and will still take my dog to her when my cat dies. Some vets are awful. Most are not.
