Our house last year - there are more lights this year but it’s been too cold to go out for a photo!

Please enjoy this house I accidentally found when I made a wrong turn heading to my sisters new place. When it gets dark tonight I’ll show a pic of my neighbors across the street and my own lights! Mine are the less spectacular of the 3, but I’m still proud because I did them by my self to cheer my dad up as he so graciously let me live in his house for free 8 years after I moved out quite dramatically at 17 years old.

We lost 3 family members between April and June. As the holidays crept closer everyone started getting more sad. So, we got an inflatable turkey for Thanksgiving and had it in our yard for the month. Not much, but it made us giggle he was there. We named him George. I feel you.

I love them too. Personally it has been an awful time for a while. Messaged my neighbour to say how seeing her Christmas lights as I come home lift me.

I’m still hoping to get lights around that other front window and my deer has fallen over but hey we have lights! ☺️🎄 sending you lots of well wishes and warmth!
