I wouldn’t recommend teaching them about the Moors because they were not sub Saharan African. What about sharing your own story with your child? Like how have you or friends/family had to navigate being black in America, including at work and why? How to try to safely engage with police. Culture can be sharing things that your family does bare the types of things you enjoy.
