I overprepared - I had a postpartum doula, because I was sure my recovery is going to be long and painful, so I assumed I'm gonna spend the first six weeks barely functioning I felt fine two days after coming home and the extended presence of a stranger three times a week was getting on my nerves by the end of week three I'm grateful for the support and so happy we are finally done with it, so I can have my space back
