Good question.

When I started traveling in 2020 I took a remote job with an SEO marketing agency. The founder was living in Colombia at the time so I went down for more face-to-face time, ending up getting stuck there, but stayed to learn more. I stayed there for about a year until the company was acquired and from there started working independently as a freelancer doing marketing projects. More recently I started my own business and wrote a book.
